Port Charlotte Beach Recreation Center is about a 2 mile drive
and has a beach, fishing pier, pool, picnic area, tennis courts,
etc. This beach is on Charlotte Harbor

Charlotte Sports Park connects to Tippecanoe Environmental Park
and will become the entrance to walking trails, a boardwalk and a
canoe/kayak launch. Charlotte Sports Park is located on S.R. 776
which offers easy access from U.S. 41 The Sports Park will also be
Tampa Bay Devil Rays Spring Training camp in 2009.
